December 31, 2014

White Dog and the White Dog Army spent the better part of the evening digesting a dim sum dinner of favorite Asian noshes...eggrolls, baked pork buns, pot stickers, taro balls, shu mai, and veggie tempura. Dessert of homemade raspberry coulis in which tiny Christmas tree shaped pretzels and white chocolate covered marshmallows were dipped pushed the Army...and humans...into a state of festive bliss.

Now we approach the hour of fireworks and much celebration, a time of loud noises which frighten YoYoMa and make White Dog and Taiko nervous. We prepare for early walks and retiring to our bedroom at back of the house (where it is quieter) where we will cap the night with a loud movie to mask the scary sounds.  Actually, we are thinking of investigating the TV series Mozart in the Jungle.

But before we go to bed in 2014 and wake in 2015, the White Dog Army...Siku Marie, YoYoMa, Puff the Magical, Taiko the Tender Hearted, Bella E. Premurosa, Sachi the Undaunted, Zsofia the Sky-Eyed, Steve and I want to send a blessing to our blog family and friends...

May this coming year find you always with hope and a friend. May you know health and well-being. May you find strength to weather storms and peace to calm fears. May you know security and safety. May your heart be filled with compassion and your soul with wonder. May you be blessed with opportunities to give and to receive. May you know joy and contentment. May you have bounty to share...and may you always know you are loved and cherished.

Let's make 2015 a year of positive change...together we are a powerful force.
