The October 26 is National Day of Struggle for Freedom Pass and celebrates, in 2014, ten
years after the first revolt of Ratchet in the city of Florian?polis, popular rebellion
that joined the history of the struggle for shipping and spurred the creation of the Free
Pass Movement nationally the following year. ---- In 2014, demonstrations by Zero Rate

---- For 10 years, nationwide, 26 October is remembered as a day of action by public
transport. Memories refer to Florianopolis, a scenario of political pressure, the people
in the streets demanding, pressing state and entrepreneurs, for a truly public
transportation. And these, with the support of the military police, fleeing through the
back door.
Spent a decade, the year 2014 is being marked by criminalization in Joinville. Because of
the struggles for public transport and the repeal of the tariff increase, companies
operating illegally transport 50 years ago, and Gidion Transtusa the Passebus, mayor and
businessman Udo Dohler, and the Military Police, move 21 political processes in attempt to
criminalize the actions of social movements. The law firm Harguer (Transtusa) is the
author of almost all processes. Still suffer from the violence of the police apparatus,
including the threat of death in one of the episodes.
To combat this growing criminalization against social movements, ensuring the freedom of
expression and the free organization launched the Protest is Not Crime campaign. Even with
all the pressures social movements do not hold their peace nor cease to go to the streets
to fight against this and other injustices.
So let todxs the streets this October 24, the rate Zero and the Struggle For Freedom. For
a public transport actually against criminalization.
