CGA Lyon, Kezako? ---- The Lyon Group CGA (Coordination of Anarchist Groups) is an
anarchist group whose goal is the transformation of society to end all forms of domination
and exploitation, and build a libertarian communist society. ---- We are convinced that
they are the oppressed and exploited of the play a central role in social transformation.
---- We are convinced that a genuine revolutionary process can not come from an
avant-garde, is not the work of a party or ideological organization, be it anarchist, but
can only be the oppressed and exploited of the implementation classes. ---- We are also
convinced of the need to regroup and get organized on two levels: ---- On the social side
, with all the oppressed and exploited of the to build, organize and develop the struggles
based on the practical needs of the oppressed and exploited of the
Politically to defend in these social and popular movements that seem best able to not
only meet their immediate goals, but also to collectively build the conditions for a
revolutionary transformation of society: autonomy, independence from all hierarchical
structures seeking to exploit, self-organization, direct democracy, direct action,
militancy, solidarity and mutual assistance, internationalism.

We do not consider the higher political to social, individual plans enriching one another.

We reject the idealization of social and popular movements, ie the desire to make social
anarchist movement, Marxists, etc., because such will only divide the oppressed. But we
think necessary political discussion within them, and we think that anarchists must
organize specifically to defend their ideas and practices, openly, and in accordance with
the collective decision frameworks.

We are convinced that anarchists have a social practice, and seek social inclusion: this
means that collective action and organized in popular struggles, an organizer role that is
contributing to the creation and development of grassroots organizations and not simply a
propagandist posture or practice which is to "jump" from one fight to another, at the
option of time without building tools lasting popular resistance.

The group has chosen to invest in the long term in popular struggles. For that, it works
on three fronts of struggle:

Feminism / Antipatriarcat,
Anti-Racism / Anti-fascism,
Unionism.
These fronts of struggle correspond to social and popular movements in which the CGA Lyon
group intervenes, a social practice, and seeks a social inclusion, ie to exert political
influence through the spread of practices and defending characteristics that we consider
best able to win the movements, while helping to build more widely popular organization,
from the perspective of a revolutionary transformation of society.

We would eventually develop other fronts of struggle (eg housing, ecology, etc ...), but
we chose initially to focus on popular movements in which we actually have the possibility
of collective action.

To intervene in these fronts of struggle, we meet in committee, which are open to
supporters and sympathizers (nonadherent to another political organization): the only
requirement is to share the positions of the CGA on this battleground and not be hostile
to other positions of the CGA . For example, a person who would share our positions on
trade unionism would be anti-feminist but could not participate in the trade union
committee. A feminist anti-union person but could not attend the anti-patriarchal commission.

The committees develop collective strategies, tactics, organizing actions or production
equipment.

The trade union committee , for instance, has for more than a year a campaign to organize
young workers in the CFA in the region, in a libertarian syndicalist perspective. She
wrote a booklet training libertarian syndicalist, and runs a blog, forum libertarian
syndicalist .

The patriarchy commission works on the ground of feminist and anti-patriarchal struggles,
including organizing the intervention of the CGA in the collective defense of abortion, or
the movement for equal rights, against Lesbophobia, homophobia, biphobia and transphobia
in debates on marriage, etc ....

The anti-racism committee , it seeks to build both an intervention in the field of
anti-fascism (both so specifically libertarian, and the unitary framework of the
Collective Vigilance 69), and in the field of anti-racism (eg support for the struggles of
undocumented or mobilizations against state racism).

The CGA group ultimately decides, since it is his collective resources that are engaged in
the implementation of these actions.

In addition to these three committees corresponding to our current three fronts, the last
commission is in charge of the management of our local, to make it a place to present our
ideas, but also support popular movements.

How to participate?

For us the important thing is not only to share ideas but also a social practice. But we
do not consider it necessary to agree on everything to start to organize ourselves and act
together. For this we have chosen to allow multiple levels of collective organization,
along the lines of "concentric circles":

If you agree with the principles and workings of CGA and its positions on various
battlegrounds, you want to participate, you can apply to participate in one of these
committees , and ultimately, if there is agreement group and you want (mutual agreement),
ask your membership .

If you agree on positions defended by the CGA on a battle front that you are not hostile
to his positions on other battlegrounds , without necessarily knowing them thoroughly, and
want to participate in this battlefront, you can also ask to attend one of these
committees . This will allow you to deepen your knowledge of our other positions, and if
you fully share, ask your membership term.

You can get support for the organization: ie, financially support the CGA , without being
a member, or because you do not share all of our positions, but enjoy our practices for
example, or because you do not want or can not invest more than you currently, or in the
longer term. The minimum monthly contribution is 5 euros.
Finally, you can support the place, the black pen, by participating in the public offering.
