Depuis plusieurs semaines l’Office des Étrangers semblent pister la
communauté Pakistanaise. Ils résident bien souvent depuis des années en
Belgique et n’ont jamais obtenus de régularisation comme beaucoup
d’autres. Beaucoup sont au centre fermé de Vottem et entament
régulièrement des grèves de la faim et/ou soif. Ils ont très peur d’être
renvoyer dans leur pays.
En effet des témoignages et des rapports internationaux confirment que
ces personnes sont remises systématiquement par la police Belge entre
les mains de la Police Pakistanaise et sont exposées à des risques
sérieux d’incarcération arbitraire, de torture, d’extorsion d’argent, et
de procès inéquitables pour avoir été en séjour illégal en Belgique.
Plusieurs cas concrets ont été récoltés par certains avocats et
associations.
