Italian mayor wants to ban public kissing between same-sex couples

Gianluca BuonannoThe mayor of the town of Borgosesia in northern Italy, says he wants to ban public displays of affection between members of the same-sex. Gianluca Buonanno, a member of the Italian parliament for the right-wing Northern League party, has proposed that same-sex couples who kiss in public be fined 500 Euros (about $680 USD).

Toronto mayor Rob Ford casts lone vote against LGBT homeless shelter proposal

No charges for man who attacked politician because there were no injuries

While the suspect has been identified, yet remains at large, prosecutors say he will not be charged, as no one was injured.

Attorney General Greg Zoeller (R-Ind.)INDIANAPOLIS -- Indiana's attorney general wants more than three appellate judges to decide the fate of the state's same-sex marriage ban. The office says in a statement issued Saturday that it filed a motion late Friday asking the entire 10-judge 7th Circuit Court of Appeals to hear Indiana's appeal of a judge's order that struck down the ban.
