Saturday, 7 June took place the fascist, racist and anti-sexist mobilization, on this
occasion we broadcast this in tribute to our comrade Bar?s Ataman, fallen because of
fascist and racist policies of Turkey as here. To his memory and his fights continue to
live in our struggles. We will never forget, we will never forgive. ---- For this text, we
wish to pay tribute to our comrade Bar?s Ataman, who died on the night of Wednesday, May
14, 2014 in Lyon in tragic circumstances. The causes of his death are not yet officially
established, but whether it is a suicide or murder, the Turkish state, its racist and
fascist policies, remains the main cause of his death. ---- Bar?s arrived in France in
March of 2012, driven by Turkey of repression by the Turkish state against the student
union movement. On several occasions, he had lived the brunt of the repression of student
movements, first in Mersin and Siirt where he was sentenced to a prison term of 3 years.
This is the violence of the State which has led to political exile. Thus it was, only 19
years old, painfully confronted uprooting and racism of the French state: the language
barrier, the long and difficult struggle for the recognition of political asylum,
isolation and the distance from his relatives and his anarchist comrades in Turkey and
Kurdistan.

Nevertheless, it is a given in France to continue his fight against every rule that we met
in Paris in early spring 2012 fellow. Symbol of loving-es of freedom, circled a poster in
the streets of Saint-Denis had guided us to where he knew he could find, beyond the
difficulties of communication, values solidarity and internationalism he had defended so
far and he needed more than ever. Very quickly, he recreated solidarity with Kurdish
comrades here in France and was partly at the initiative of a large French countryside
solidarity with students are imprisoned es and tou-te-s prisoner-s-era policies in Turkey,
in particular through the organization of the event on 26 June 2012.
Recognizing the importance of social inclusion of anarchism, he was also committed to our
side, with many acuity in other battles, especially in struggles for housing and paper
where we are invested in Saint-Denis.
Bar?s was these comrades confidence, particularly determined, we knew anything to defend
and live our common values, even in the most difficult moments. Discreet, yet he exuded
the image of an unwavering commitment, a fight against oppression, after he had lived so
young, could only end in the destruction of one of the two parts. Yes, Bar?s was devoted
to the fight. A friend for some of us-es but also, paradoxically, a comrade who gave
meaning to this word too despised and whose meeting we will all deeply affected.
Machine to destroy the lives of capitalism did the rest. Practical difficulties associated
with living in the Paris region led in September 2013 to leave the island to go to France
Lyon find other Turkic-speaking peers.
Bar?s died under the repeated assaults of States and the capitalist system, he was 22
years old. For him and other fallen-es before him, we continue to build our struggle
against our common enemies and violence they impose on us: police brutality, judicial or
military, social violence precarious income, housing, health, violence against women,
national minorities and sexual minorities, psychological violence also against each-e of us.
Our tears are not tears of sadness, they are tears of rage. We do not forget our friend,
we carry his memory in each of our actions against the system that seeks to destroy us.
Solidarity is not an empty word. We will never forget, we will never forgive.
All against fascism, against all states, Baris, you will live in our struggles
