Aan de Duitse Ambassade in Brussel zijn verschillende activisten uit verschillende landen gearresteerd. Zij zijn omstreeks 10.25 u aangekomen aan het politiebureau aan de Kolenmarkt 70 m van de Grote Markt.
Ik kon even met een jonge gearresteerde vrouw spreken via een klein openstaande venster van een grote politiebus waarin zij ,geboeid, opgesloten zaten.
De activisten waren gaan protesteren aan de Duitse Ambassade uit solidariteit tegen het ontruimen van een school die bezet is door mensen zonder papieren in Berlijn (Gerhard-Hauptmann-Schule in Kreuzberg)
In Duitsland staan verschillende actievoerders op het dak van deze school. Ze dreigen zich zelf in brand te steken indien de politie zal ingrijpen.
Ik heb contact gehad met het kamp aan het Noord-station in Brussel en men vertelde dat ze telefonisch op de hoogte zijn van de arrestaties. En dat er een delegatie onderweg was naar het politiebureau.
Toen men bezig was met het uitladen van de gearresteerden zie ik dat Hoofd commissaris Pierre Vandersmissen ( directeur interventie en operationele steun van de politiezone Brussel-Hoofdstad/. Elsene ) uit zijn dienstwagen springen. Blijkbaar heeft hij de leiding van deze operatie.
Hij zelf is niet een onbesproken persoon en is bekend om zijn brute aanpak van activisten, enz... Er bestaan voldoende video's en foto's om dit aan te tonen. Regelmatig moet hij zich verantwoorden voor zijn gedrag tijdens betogingen. Remember 15 mei !!! Hij is niet geliefd ... Hij heeft zelfs een bijnaam .. deed me juist denken aan de tweede wereldoorlog ...

Dear all,
We are people from the occupied Gerhard-Hauptmann-Schule in Kreuzberg
who are now at the refugee protest camp for the March for Freedom in
Bruxelles.
We got the information from the Kreuzberg district officials (as is Mr.
Panhoff) to leave the school voluntarily on Monday the latest. So it's
clear that the following days will be the days of eviction. Most
probably on Tuesday or Wednesday morning. We, refugees, don't agree
witt his decision! We want to keep the school as our self organized home,
whatever it takes! And what does it take?.. It takes solidarity from
all of you! We are expecting exceptional police brutality. So we call for
everybody to come to the school on Monday evening and stay for the
night because they usually come very early in the morning.
THIS IS AN EMERGENCY CALL TO EVERYBODY SUPPORTING OUR STRUGGLE!
Here in Bruxelles we will show our solidarity with a strong
demonstration to the German embassy on Tuesday and an action in front
of
the Office of the Representation of Berlin on Monday.
