The trial proved successful and yielded new insights into the disease. The treated dogs had a tumor-free survival almost five times longer than dogs that received only chemotherapy. With the study completed, trials are no longer available.
The Canine T Cell Project is an effort to make T-cell infusion treatment for dogs a reality in near future.
