CGT Renault Cleon: On 7 and 8 July, Prime Minister Manuel Valls meet employers'
organizations and trade unions of employees for a new social Conference, after the July
2012 and June 2013. ---- Introduced by Fran?ois Hollande, following his election, the
Social Conference meets annually employers and unions around the government to establish
the roadmap "social" in the coming year. ---- What we unfortunately found is that during
each of her steps were taken by the government for employers to reduce the "so-called"
labor costs, delay the age retirement, dismantle our public services and our welfare,
while urgent questions about the purchasing power and employment remain. That is the
record that we drew.
It will be the same for Social Conference July 7 and 8 in which the President of the
Republic and his 1 st Minister will confirm their determination to implement their "pact
of responsibility" and its 30 billion euros offered to employers through:
- Firstly, the continued competitiveness Jobs Tax Credit
- Secondly, new partial or total exemptions from contributions
- social jeopardizing our whole system of social protection.
This conference has only one goal: get the security of complacent union organizations
acting against the interests of employees in the public and private, retirees and private
employment, to validate the austerity policy that he will take the service of big business.
All of this because we have no interest in participating in this social conference.
That is why we ask our confederation to announce that the CGT will not participate.
It will be a way to tell millions of employees that there is nothing to expect from the
so-called "social dialogue" as part of a negotiation that seeks only to impose new social
decline.
And that the only way we enforce, it will rebuild a power by powerful mobilizations, like
mobilizations undertaken by the railway and the entertainment.
