Since May 12, the professional education of the city and state of Rio de Janeiro are on
strike. Yesterday, May 28, were again attacked and prevented from protesting for their
rights. The state government and the municipality threaten all public servants with the
possible cut point of the strikers. A mixture of sadism with hypocrisy, the Court of Rio
de Janeiro ruled this illegal strike, under the excuse that Sepe was unwilling to
negotiate with the government. At the time that the "eyes" of big business are facing
Brazil, our Justice shows who actually works for the ruling class. It should be remembered
that there were several categories of public service, also in the private sector, who are
on strike as the technicians of the federal universities, technicians, students and
teachers UENF, teachers and students of the Colegio Pedro II.
The State moreover, has demonstrated its lack of commitment to public education, often
acting in defense of privatization of education. In public schools, the state undermines
the process of teaching and learning become precarious working conditions and labor
relations if the recruitment of manpower. The salary of teachers is increasingly devalued.

of teachers, police use of brute force, arrests, criminalization of the struggle and more
abuse.

strike continues to be a weapon of defense and conquest of rights. The workers of
education now require compliance with the agreements of the strike of 2013 and will once
again organized struggle.
We reject any kind of criminalization of mobilizations and threats to the rights of the
people. Given the conservative reactions of bosses, justice, and governments that rely on
the help of the bourgeois media, advocate mutual-support and active solidarity between the
various sectors of the exploited and oppressed, in the specific case of education among
all segments of the school community, parents, teachers, students and technicians from
public schools. To confront violence and the excesses of the powerful is needed in
organizing. Unifying the different strike movements beyond our categories and specific
claims, with the base unit and strengthening the struggle of the working class (as) and
oppressed as a whole.
For a strike movement endowed with direct democracy with active participation in meetings
as a sovereign decision space workers (as). Defending a union practice that zele for class
independence and never delegating what is our task to intermediaries, technicians,
bureaucrats and legislators who demobilize fights.

county, state and federal system.
