Brazil : Anarchism Note of solidarity of Coordination of Brazilian Anarchists CAB with the subway of S?o Paulo Subway Workers' Union of S?o Paulo (pt)

We Coordination Brazilian Anarchist (CAB), support the fair strike of the S?o Paulo 
subway, not just better conditions at work but in defense of urban mobility and public 
service Free shipping and no turnstiles. We believe that recent events, especially those 
that occurred today, are fundamental to understand the current state of persecution on 
social, popular and union movements in Brazil, as well as the current stage of development 
of the class struggle throughout the territory. ---- About the layoffs, it is unacceptable 
that the government of the State of S?o Paulo, in the figure of Transportation Secretary 
Jurandir Fernandes, dismiss 60 employees by the subway "just cause", claiming that they 
were involved in illegal acts as breach of equity or disregard the rules of work, when it 
is clear that this measure is an act of repression against strikers, political persecution 
and deterrent to other workers who remain steadfast in their strike. The same government 
that treats the strike as illegal and abusive recourse to bourgeois justice TRT also 
violates the law 7.783/89 in his art. 6, ? 2, which says: "It is forbidden for companies 
to adopt means to embarrass the employee reporting to work and able to thwart the spread 
of the movement." It is clear then that the government is not really concerned about the 
legality, making clear the stance of persecution and criminalization of workers.

Continue to support the struggles of the subway since the sectors in which we operate and 
are already in constant struggle for a free public transport system as well as in defense 
of working class struggles and wish Fraternal solidarity to fellow sufferers that time 
intense political persecution .
