Call for the Demo 18th May from Kehl to Strasbourg – Crossing borders!

THIS IS A LETTER OF MOTIVATION, THIS IS A CALL, THIS IS LOVE….!
It’s happening on the 18th of May: The March for Freedom from Strasbourg to Bruxelles is gonna start in Kehl and we need you all here! We wanna fight for the freedom of movement for everyone, fight against a racist system that divides people instead of uniting them, that exploits people instead of supporting them! We wanna show that a different world is possible, borders can’t stop us, we have to show how many we are so make an effort and COME TO STRASBOURG/KEHL ON THE 18th OF MAY, we need you here!!!
We call on you to leave you passports (if you have one) at home: In solidarity with the people who don’t have papers we will all leave our documents at home and march without papers!
We call on you to leave any signs of political parties, corporate identities of your trade union or organization, your badges, flags of any nation, your ensigns and emblems at home! This is a self-organized and autonomous march of refugees, asylum seekers and undocumented migrants, we don’t accept any adversitsements for political parties or other organizations.
Security: We have lawyers on our site
Please try to mobilize amongst your friends and families. If you know places where there are asylum seekers and refugies, please invite them to come! We have sleepingplaces, food and support!

The program (always changeable by the assembly of people marching):

10 h to 13 h manifestation at the train station in Kehl/germany. Welcoming refugees/activists arriving
13 h demonstration from Kehl to Strasbourg/France
16 h 30 to 20 h concert on a place in Strasbourg (for the exact place check out our blog, we will publish the place soon)
20 h 15 Theatre piece: “THE ASYLUM MONOLOGUES” Documentary Theater in French and English, Sunday, 18 MAI 2014 20h15/ Entrance Free!

Regarding the difficulties and problems in working groups on the issue of protest march to Brussels, there is a little chance to prepare strong media to cover our views and news around this action; therefore different groups and pages ,that are in fact just supporters who not necessarily recognize themselves as no-status, spread the word from their own point of view and not necessarily from us,the refugees participaing in protest march.

CREACTIVISM DAYS for Freedom March To BrusselsLet’s get together, liberate our creative minds and have a playful time together:
making banners, stencils, T- shirts, prints, everything to creatively transport our messages!
7.- 9.5.2014 from 11am- open endFrom 11am – 3pm at Oranienplatz
From 3pm – end at New Yorck Bethanien
(in case of bad weather: only in Bethanien)
Bring paint, brushes, pencils, cardboard, all you can imagine!

Departure from Berlin to Freiburg (Kehl/Strasbourg):
The departure from Berlin will be on the 17th of May in the early morning. People who want to come with us, should therefore come to Berlin already on the 16th of May.
Very important: If you want to come with us to Freiburg (and on the next day to Kehl / Strasbourg), please write a short mail to transport.marchforfreedom@riseup.net or call us (contacts). Then we will reserve seats for you and your group.
The journey will not cost anything for refugees or people without any income.
