This week we're catching the pigeon, well Smoochie was trying to!
Mew may remember last week we were getting Supurr Crafty in Da Shed everyone except Clooney has had their parcels dispatched by carrier pigeon - we have left him a comment earlier in the week, but still haven't heard from him, purrhaps he's on holiday, if so nice! I'm sure he'll be in touch...
Anyways I'm digressing, we have an awful lot of really big pigeons in our garden, we think the P.A. feeds them with some speshul seed, as they are HUGE, apart from that they are furry useful to have on site, we call them our private delivery service, aka PDS, because they take all our kitty mail around the globe.
Smoochie really likes the pigeons he thinks 'they are fair game' and the other evening when a few were just getting to leave, dear little Smoochums decided that he fancied a bit of pigeon, all warm and juicy.
The scheduled pigeaviators were about to taxi along the courtyard in formation and head skywards, when Smoochie proceeded at great speed, which fur one with only 3 legs is quite incredible and launched himself up the tree at the end of the courtyard, so he had a better vantage point as they flew by almost within pawing distance.
It was touch and go for a few seconds as I had to scoot up that tree faster than mew could say jumping jack whats-his-name and herd the naughty Smoochums back down before he launched himself into the sky after those pigeons.
He was not furry impressed that I stopped his antics and we did go up and down and round and round a few times before he conceded that he wasn't going to be getting his own way, but he soon got over it when the P.A. gave him some new Dreamies, ones with added vitamins, speshul Dreamies fur speshul cats.
So rest assured my furriends your parcels will be delivered, no thanks to Smoochie!
