On strike for two months, the workers S?nerval decided to block the incinerator household
waste Rohrschollen in Strasbourg on Thursday morning May 22 to protest against the

Struggle S?nerval: development and action of this Wednesday, May 21
Focus on social conflict in S?nerval factory dated May 21, 2014
The employee-es S?nerval began a strike on March 21 (day 60!) And tried to transform it
into opting for serious and imminent danger April 23 causing the stoppage of operation of
the incineration Garbage.
This action is driven by three types of claims: wages, work organization and working
conditions very degraded resulting in exposure to ash and toxic fumes CMR - carcinogenic,
mutagenic, Reprotoxic. Some chemical agents in the medium or long term, carcinogenic,
mutagenic or toxic for reproduction in employee-es that have been exposed. Many sectors
are concerned. When a CMR agent is spotted on the workplace, deletion or substitution is

This struggle by the employee-es S?nerval is exceptional when compared to other companies
struggle. It is the first by the duration (60 days today). This reflects an absolute
determination of employee-es which demonstrates the seriousness of the risks for their
work. These risks are shared and they fight with a rarely attainable and seldom seen
cohesion in a work group.
solidarity expressed by (part ...) of the CGT at interprofessional level contributes to
its measure the strength of this struggle. The money collected in the form of
contributions CGT structures or by subscription from union members and sympathizers are
helped to fill some of the financial losses resulting from the strike (2nd month without
wages ...). This aid should continue and be extended to the regional and national levels.
The intensity of the struggle facing an employer intransigence obviously puts the nerves
of all those involved in the test. Decisions to be taken to manage the conflict and are
essentially only the group of employee-es S?nerval. Accompanying the inter CGT (mainly UL
Strasbourg) is the domain of "experienced board" and making available technical and
