(en) Communique of the delegations of FAU and USI from the meeting of both organizations in Trieste (de, it)

On 10 and 11 May, a meeting between the official delegations of the USI and the FAU took 
place in Trieste. During the meeting - in which it went migration and the protection of 
rights in precarious jobs, the issues - were the respective struggles of the two unions 
explained. ---- Regardless of the different legal and socio-economic starting points in 
Italy and Germany, the importance was emphasized to strengthen the union work with 
migrants in the two countries and - if possible - Connect them. ---- The importance was 
stressed these struggles with those of the native precarious and to connect the 
unemployed. In this context, it was agreed that the right to housing has the same value as 
the right to work. ---- Both delegations were pleased with the high level of discussion 
and keep a continuation of these meetings, in the hope to participate some other Sections 
of the IAA who want to put an emphasis on that work is very important.
