In San Francisco at the San Francisco State University Distance Carnival on Friday, Sarah Reiter and Berenice Penaloza of Eastern Washington ran times of 35:56.49 and 36:43.57 in the 10,000 to place second and seventh, respectively. Each of those times cross-qualify Reiter and Penaloza for the 10,000
