WEDNESDAY 30 APRIL I NTERNATIONAL JAZZ DAY- FOCUS JAZZ CONCERT International Jazz Day is a yearly event on 30 April, initiated by UNESCO to celebrate “the virtues of jazz as an educational tool, and a force for peace, unity, dialogue and enhanced cooperation among people.” The FOCUS JAZZ weekly concerts organized by the Music Village (more than 400 in the last 10 years), are aimed to support emerging jazz groups by offering them the visibility and the logistics of a professional venue. For this Special occasion, the Music village has invited Heptagone  Julien Marga (guitar), Ruben Hernandez (trumpet), Tim Lemaire (trombone), Julien Gillain (piano),Magali Marga (bass), Sebastien Peeters (vibraphone), Thomas Vasseur (drums). ...swing, groove, latin and classical music...Brussels Jazz Collective 's new project.. ...jazz cats from the Royal Conservatory of Brussels...influenced by Pat Metheny, Keith Jarrett, Herbie Hancock...revisited through the lens of their own universe...
