We are so grateful that our dear Fr. Ricardo came through his difficult surgery. Please extend Your most healing graces to him now as he works through the pain and strenuous effort of recovery. Help him especially in the moments of discouragement when it can feel as though the cure is worse than the ailment. Keep his spirit from waning and surround his family with Your peace and comfort.
We ask this through Your Son, Jesus Christ and Your Most Holy Spirit who reigns with You as One God, forever and ever.
Amen.

SURGERY and RECOVERY UPDATE:
Tom Fourkereports that he just got back from the city. Fr. Ricardo is out of the hospital and is back home in good shape and spirits. He is in some pain as one can guess and resting. In a couple of weeks he will start therapy. The only issue is a reaction to the plastic pad on the operating table. That is healing and should be clear in a few more days.
We appreciate your extended prayers for Fr. Ricardo’s recovery.
Very best,
Elizabeth Bell
