Eight weeks after the historic protest against Airport of Notre-Dame-des-Landes, three
injured protesters in the face by gunfire Flash-Ball denouncing police violence. Quentin,
Emmanuel and Damien now have a blind eye, perhaps forever. But this is only the most
revolting of repression was much larger appearance. ---- The room was full and immediate
appearances tense, Tuesday, April 1, the High Court of Nantes. Were judged on that day
four comrades, searched and arrested the day at dawn, on charges dating back to the
historic event on 22 February against the Ayrau port of Notre-Dame-des-Landes, who had
gathered 50,000 people . ---- The media talked about town "sacked" and "black blocks" ...
and police injured. They failed to mention the hundreds of protesters and demonstrators
beaten, including three who lost an eye after firing Flash-Ball , and the travesty of
justice that followed.
February 24, already five people were spent in immediate appearance. The admission of the
prosecutor, it was no question of "thugs" targeted.
April 1 was not more tender, far from it. Again, the defendants were far from meeting the
stereotype of that elusive "black block". The hardest sentence E., who was sentenced to a
year in prison with warrant for having made a smoke and threw a stone towards riot barrier
key. Two others took a few months in prison without warrant, and last four months of
suspension, after a trial whose outcome seemed to be fixed in advance.
Punishment attempts to stifle social struggles. Faced with this police state, we will
respond by struggles. Repression will never because of our utopias or our struggles.
Solidarity is our weapon. Solidarity with the wounded and charged on 22 February!
