In the municipal elections of March 23 and 30, the PS has lost more than 150 cities in
favor of the UMP and FN - prevails in effect in fifteen cities. We can not of course but
feel bitterness and anger at the undeniable growth of the extreme right party, but only
talk about vague "blue" or "navy" as most politicians or journalists, c is to ignore the
very low turnout that marked these elections. Here the analysis of the results proposed
AL. ---- It must first be noted that the rise of the extreme right is the direct result of
policies pursued by the UMP and PS governments which, for years, have trampled the rights
of working people to enrich the capital. ---- Discouraging collective solidarity and
building on the withdrawal and individual guilt addressing social problems (unemployment),
governments have merely preserve the soil in which antisocial pushes the FN. But it was
nice to denounce the "UMPS system" because the leaders of the far right party come from
the same world of the bourgeoisie, the capitalist class. And, once in power, they would
conduct themselves as a policy for employers and wealthy.
However, the polarization of political life by FN (although helped by the fund media
resonance) results in an unfortunate race shallot in terms of migration and security
policy: rather than fight the far right on the ideological field by proposing another
social project, the liberal left uses the same strings as the right and try to beat the FN
at his own game It's completely suicidal and the appointment of Valls Matignon only
confirmed this leakage before a political class disconnected from people's problems.
Finally, the low turnout once again demonstrates the loss of legitimacy of the ruling
political class and all its institutions. This confidence is expressed in even a large
part of the social left, which is not found even in parties "left of the left". Because
they are collective struggles and real solidarity that will restore hope to change
society, not campaign promises and campaign speeches.
Alternative to Libertarian things are clear: The fight against the extreme right through
the revitalization of social movements. It is highlighting other solidarities other
responses to capitalist barbarism we can curb the thrust of FN and fascist groups. And
deal with current policies, there is an urgent need to mobilize and take the street. If
we want change, we must take from below, developing social struggles and organizing truly
democratic way . Creation of local collective mobilization for walking April 12 is a
first attempt in this direction.
Libertarian, egalitarian revolution remains to be done!
