Afghanistan doesn't need US troops: Karzai

#1: At least 18 tribesmen were abducted by gunmen from the outskirts of Pakistan's Peshawar city, a media report said. About 60 gunmen raided Faqeer Kalley in the Mashokhel area of Badbher, one km from city and kidnapped 18 people belonging to the Shinwari tribe of Afridis late Friday, Dawn online reported.

#2: At least 18 Taliban militants were killed or injured following military operations by Afghan national security forces.
