Estou na segunda temporada e vejo os episódios à medida que vão saindo. A série é sobre um psicopata com uma mente brilhante, Joe Carroll, que consegue juntar imensas pessoas com um propósito: matar. Inspirado em Edgar Allan Poe (autor de imensos livros, como por exemplo «O Corvo») mostra uma enorme inteligência e complexidade. Joe Carroll é a minha personagem preferida, pois apesar de ser «o mau» é aquela personagem que nos arrepia cada vez que fala, que nos surpreende com toda a sua táctica, que consegue tudo o que deseja e que é capaz de mover multidões. É simplesmente genial.

I watch a lot of different tv shows but about two months ago I decided to start watching The Following. I had nothing to do, I wanted to start watching a new tv show, I gave this one a try and I must admit I got high expectations just by reading the small description.
I'm currently watching the second season and I watch all the episodes by the time they're on the air. This show is about a psycopath with a brilliant mind, Joe Carroll, who can gather many people with a purpose: to kill. Inspired by Edgar Allan Poe (author of «The Raven» and many other books), Joe is extremely intelligent and complex. Joe Carroll is my favourite character because even though he's the «bad guy», he gives us chills every time he talks, he surprises us with his tactic, he accomplishes everything he desires and he's able to captivate a crowd. Simply genious.
Watch the first episode and I guarantee you won't regret.
