France, Alternative Libertaire AL #235 - Unit antifascist campaign: Fighting in trade unions FN (fr, pt)

While a multifaceted racism appears without complexes, union united campaign intensifies
with training and meetings in several cities in France, including Jan. 29 at the labor
exchange in Paris. ---- The "united campaign against the far right, his ideas, practices"
initiated by trade unions CGT, FSU and Solidarity and expanded youth organizations UNEF,
Fidl and UNL is gaining momentum. And to launch the joint campaign, a day of work in the
form of thematic workshops meet on January 29 at the labor exchange to Paris several
hundred trade unionists. The idea is indeed to offer the morning four workshops and
discussions to better understand and combat the "social impostures of FN and the extreme
right" and describe the different realities of union teams: "The extreme right in
laboratory cities "," Women's rights and gay / family preference", "The struggles of the
peoples of Europe against unemployment, insecurity, austerity and the extreme right",
"Immigration, racism, national preference". In the afternoon, an activist and union
initiatives Vigilances antifascists (Visa) introduce the theme "combating the trade-unions
pseudo-social discourse FN" before the participants and participants will be divided into
the workshops.

And in the evening, the three secretaries of various trade unions and a representative of
youth organizations will testify to the trade union movement to retaliate massively and
over time against the far right.

Unit and local initiatives

The idea is to decline the union campaign locally unitarily most feasible to replicate on
the ground in various offensives of the far right in the social field. Indeed, the FN is
the most visible part of the phenomenon, but do not overlook attempts recovery movement
red caps by Identitaires in Britain or, more insidious still, the danger may also
represent the anti-system movement nickname and deeply anti-Semitic Dieudonn? duo-Soral.

This dynamic unit facing the fascist threat has already been anticipated in some
departments. Thus, Visa occurred since October 2013 for training in the inter-union demand
(at the initiative of local Solidarity with the CGT and the FSU and sometimes also with
the CFDT, UNSA and CNT) first in Grenoble (90 unionists) and Tours (110 unionists). Early
2014 and other inter-union and anti-fascist formations discussions with Visa are provided
in Rennes, Angers, Foix, Nimes ...

Revolutionary syndicalists should help make the day a success for Jan. 29 massify through
the trade union movement, the anti-fascist dynamic and thus dam the various offensives of
the far right in the direction of the working classes!
