The 33 Rue des Vignoles in Paris 20th is a historic symbol of the anarchist movement in
Paris. Opened in 1971 by the Spanish anarchists in exile, today seat of the French CNT,
this little impasse is a mecca of cons-culture and struggle. The city of Paris the threat
of closure. ---- Twenty years later: the premises of 33 rue des Vignoles are again
threatened. ---- 33 Rue des Vignoles, headquarters of the CNT, but also occupied by
artists space, Flamenco association in France and a craftsman, is a living open to the
neighborhood, but is again in the crosshairs of the city of Paris. This offensive
terminates unilaterally trade underway since 2011 whose aim was to define the terms of a

The support committee of 33 called for a demonstration on March 15
On March 4, a support committee was formed, comprised of residents, unions, community
groups, political organizations and personalities. Beyond the sensitivities of each
component of the committee members share the desire to defend the people's Paris, a place
which combines multiple self-management union action, cultural debates, artistic creation,
with an opening on this neighborhood: libertarian book fairs and used children's shows,
film club, a constantly AMAP.
