Her comments are blunt. RT has already said that she will not be reprimanded .... but they will send her on a fact-finding trip to Ukraine. I suspect that when she is on the ground and sees what is happening there with her own eyes .... she may change her point of view. If not .... I look forward to her explaining why.
As to her comments on the news coverage .... I concur with her analysis. I speak Russian, and I have been following the news coverage from Ukrainian and Russian sources since the start of the crisis. It has been disappointing .... but truth be told they have been better than some of the international journalists who have been sent in to cover a news story where they do not know the history, the culture, and the facts on the ground.
What have been my "favorite" news organizations to watch/read during the Ukraine crisis .... The BBC, The Guardian, ABC News (Australia), the CBC (I now live in Canada), RT (sometimes), and (of course) AP/Reuters/AFP.
