Cleaning Dog's Ears Using A Cotton Ball

I always cleaned Jasmine's ears this way; using a drenched cotton ball. I would squeeze out the solution and rub the ear, then wipe the outside part of the ear. Jasmine didn't seem to mind this way at all, she particularly enjoyed all the rubbing.

Jasmine never had problems with her ears.

With Cookie, the vet wanted us to really flood the ear squirting the solution directly from the bottle. We've been doing that religiously but I think I'll try the cotton ball approach again. I think Cookie might like that much better.
