"The military and its backers have inflated a false sense of nationalism and cultivated anti-American rhetoric to condemn any group affiliated with the United States."  And the US would never ever cultivate say, anti-Iranian rhetoric and would never ever condemn any group affiliated with Iran or with Cuba or with Syria or with Venezuela or with Russia, right?
