Question
What is vulnerability in ecology?
Vulnerability in relation to individuals, sites, populations and ecosystems often has different meanings and definitions. In addition, value and impacts are often used synonymously and in parallel to vulnerability. The use of vulnerability also varies with what kind of disturbance in question (e.g. large scale processes like climate versus local, small scale incidents).
I am looking for conceptual based works defining value, vulnerability, impacts and risks in a general framework.
