Ouch!

We got our arnona (municipal property tax) bill for 2014 today and we are suffering from sticker shock.

Last year's payment was NIS 593.68 per month (11 payments because they never know the amounts in time for you to make a payment in January). This year's should be NIS 657.69. Just a couple of years ago, the monthly payment was below NIS 500.
