I found and interesting place today. I have been a bit reluctant to climb to any high places after I took a nasty fell from here. But today I just felt like I have to give the heights another change. I jumped on top of the fireplace, and proceeded along my usual route on top of the cabinets. Above the fridge and the freezer I found an interesting item. A perfect hiding spot! The staff has bought new lamp shades, and they are storing them on the cabinets. I just thought that I could use these lamp shades for hiding purposes while they are there, just collecting dust. I don't think the staff is assembling them any time soon anyways...
It's just that the lady of the house didn't share my vision at all. She wanted me to come away from the lamp shades. She didn't appreciate either me trying to get a feel of the lamp shades with my teeth. Obviously she was overacting again, but in order to maintain the peace in the house, I agreed to come down. Sometimes you need to give in a little, even though you are the cat...
