Camp housed the Republic evil Agreement signed! ---- An agreement was signed between DAL
and the Department of Housing tonight, providing the relocation of 300 families in the
Republic Square in "the fastest possible time," after examination of their situation, and
given the legal criteria priority in force. ---- Homeless will be housed until relocation,
if possible close to their place of life, when it comes to families with children in
school. ---- Agreement on 300 households, defended by the Right To Housing Association,
whose main priority is DALO, comes after a month and a half standoff, which had resulted
in the destruction of the camp on October 15, accompanied by police brutality were also
reproduced on October 19. Several complaints were filed on October 22 at IGPN (General
Inspectorate of the National Police).
October 31, DAL had obtained the tribunal the right to manifest Republic Square against
the advice of the police headquarters, and then resettled families were 24 of 24 on the
Place de la R?publique, to ask the application and improvement of laws, an emergency plan
and relocation.
