Today is Cookie's three-months adoptoversary.
It's interesting, because it feels like so much longer; as if she's always been with us. I suppose it's a sign that she belongs here. She certainly seems to think so.
We need to keep reminding ourselves, that she hasn't been with us that long yet.
I think it's important in terms of our expectations of what she should have learned by now.
We still have ways to go but she has learned a lot and keeps learning.
She certainly likes her training sessions; to her it's equal to play-time. We both enjoy it very much. She is also starting to understand what is expected of her--which is all mainly for her safety. Impulse control is still a problem at times.
The important thing is, she seems pretty darn happy.
She steals everybody's hearts and I have already bonded with her much more tightly than I planned to. She is such a sweetie and does great justice to being part of Jasmine's legacy.
JD and her really love each other and play a lot. She loves her life but enjoys trips to the horse farm the most. Just like Jasmine did, except she loved the ranch even more.
