It's Monday, What Are You Reading? is a meme hosted by Sheila at Book Journey.
It’s Monday! What Are You Reading, is where we gather to share what we have read this past week and what we plan to read this week. It is a great way to network with other bloggers, see some wonderful blogs, and put new titles on your reading list.
On the Personal Front:
Last week was a quiet one. We started the second quarter at school. Report cards are finally finished. The weather alternated between rainy and clear and cold. Luckily, the snow west of us was rain by the time it got here. I am not eager for snow. I am not a very adventurous driver over snowy roads.
I have been getting into winter bundling mode. I have been watching too much TV (I'm really hooked on The Voice) and playing too many computer games. I need to concentrate on reading if I want to continue to post four reviews a week.
Last Week:
I read these three books last week. All were books I had on my review stack.
Currently:
I am currently reading Pawn (The Blackcoat Rebellion) by Aimee Carter. I am enjoying this dystopian which features an engaging main character.
Next Week:
Here are the YA books on my stack for next week.
Here are the next adult books on my stack.

Extracted by Sherry Ficklin and Tyler Jolley was the first in a time travel series. I found it a little confusing because I couldn't tell the good guys from the bad guys and had no idea what either group ultimately wanted. My review will be posted on Nov. 14.
Uncrashable Dakota by Andy Marino was an alternate history book. It takes place on an airship that is powered by moonshine eating beetles. It tells the story of young Hollis Dakota who is heir to the company that made the ship and who has to deal with a hijacking. I enjoyed the adventure and the characters in this story. My review will be posted on Nov. 16.
Hard As It Gets by Laura Kaye had me switching gears to an adult romantic suspense title. I liked the characters and found the romance spicy but realistic. My only complaint is that resolution of the suspense plot will have to wait for the sequel to be published March 2014. My review will be posted on Nov. 16.

I am finally going to get a chance to read Crash Into You by Katie McGarry. I really liked the first two books in this contemporary series.
I am going to be trying to catch up on some of my backlog of review books for a while. I hope to really lower the stack here in November and in December.
Darkbeast Rebellion by Morgan Keyes is the sequel to a middle grade fantasy that I enjoyed. It was released on Sept. 24 but, since it was mailed to my summer home, I didn't get it until the middle of October.
Blood Bound by Keshia Swaim was also sent to my summer house. Spencer Hill Press sent me this paranormal which sounds interesting. It was released on Oct. 8.
Here are the next adult books on my stack.
Wild Justice by Kelley Armstrong is the third Nadia Stafford book. I got this one at LibraryThing.
Kissed by a Dark Prince by Felicity Heaton was pitched to me by the author's publicist.
Christmas on 4th Street by Susan Mallery was a recent Amazon Vine pick.
