The Centre for African Poetry:
...is a literature development project providing an interactive workspace for the production, resourcing, hiring, discussion and general support of work by African poets. We focus on the poetry and poetry people of Africa but are also attentive to poetry practices outside the continent. We offer a sense of community, encourage literary friendships, scholarship and collaboration, provide places to go, creative moments to share, games, events, information resources, as well as shopping facilities from which to buy poetry gifts and support the work of our poets.
