We, the IAF, asked a Syrian anarchist comrade's account of recent events in Syria, he is
currently in Alepo. ---- Texte 1 ---- "So, I'm right now in Aleppo, a war is going that's
obvious but till now it made me convince that war is an illusion. ---- Since a year and
half the armed groups had entered the city of Aleppo they liberated a part of the city
let's say like 60% of the city after a month from their entrance, will the thing is they
haven't make a move forward since then, the city now is divided into two, one still with
the hands of the regime and the other one is "liberated". ---- So a year and half you
would surely ask why... ---- First of all the FSA started to build martial sites or let's
say take over civil buildings and occupy it then fortify it, stealing the houses that are
near the front-lines and occupy factories after disarming it from its own machines.
At the beginning of the war here in Aleppo the regime began shelling
everything that's under the control of the rebels day and night heavily
with bombardments, planes and howitzer, snipe everyone in this areas
because everyone here is condemned, at that time you can cross from an
area to another from any regular road that hasn't been closed for snipes.
This situation stayed like 3 months then the shelling did continued the
same but the civic life did dramatically changed, "no bread, no
electricity and no water" situation carried with the beginning of the
winter and surely diseases that increased the suffering, roads were closed
so if you wanna go from an area that's liberated to one's with the regime
you have to cross from 2 certain places : one has now been closed after
liberating an area nearby and the other one is the one that's opened till
now the people like to call it the "crossing point of death" because it's
a path sniped by three snipers from the Assad's army they don't shot at it
like always but everyday we have a 2 to 3 occasions that may kill and in a
parallel universe just wound civilians.
The shelling began to became regular the morning is ok "no planes",
although tank and howitzer shelling may occur and in the night it's the
time for planes.
Returning to the first point the abandonment of the rebels, they have been
lured into the trap of media and they liked being focused on that also
helped.
The crossing point is now the most important thing because the regime's
areas are besieged by the regime itself so now the citizens of these areas
come to the liberated areas for supplies daily so imagine. That's the
situation hopefully it may change soon"

Text 2
Now, I think many of you already know that the shelling isn't going to
stop till the end of the war so I'm not here to talk about the continuous
shelling.
I'm living in the liberated areas because I do have a martial court and I
can't be caught because this will mean my inevitable death. So right now
here, Al-Qaida or let's say particularly (ISIS: Islamic state of Iraq and
Levant), have decided to get rid of FSA (the free Syrian army) so they are
not fighting with the regime like at all. They are fighting against the
free Syrian army and have won a battle in Azzaz city in the countryside of
Alep, which is located on the borderline with Turkey and do have a
crossing border point, so they have captured it and closed the border
point while in Alep the front lines between the FSA and SAA are cold so
maybe just to convince their selves that they are still fighting a snipe
or two between them and an ak-47 group of bullets.
But the fiercest fights are running inside the liberated areas between:
(the martyrs of Badr brigade vs PKK, A'asefet Alshamal brigade vs ISIS,
PKK vs ISIS) and of course they do use heavy weapons like mortars and
tanks.

Texte 3
Alqaida ISIS is now trying to take over Aleppo and defined the fsa as
their main enemy they actually helped regime forces in some areas in
Syria. They have broke the siege of an army brigade. And now they
controlled three neighborhoods.
Electricity have been cut out in Aleppo for three days in a row with no
provided excuses neither from the regime nor the opposition and of course
that was not the only thing that have been cut out as in Aleppo and for
the last 3 weeks line and umts internet had been cut.
Regime forces and with a big force consists of large number of soldiers
and 50 tanks with aircraft cover have broken the siege of defense
factories which is been located in Al'sfira in the countryside of Aleppo
of course every village on the way is now no village at all they even
shelled a refugee camp that was on their way.
