Requirements:
- A relevant 3 year Degree / Diploma or an NQF level 6 qualification in the related field with 1-2 years’ experience in the asset management environment and / or a Grade 12 Certificate with 3 years’ experience in the asset management environment
- A postgraduate qualification will serve as an added advantage
- Knowledge and understanding of BAUD , LOGIS and BAS system
- Good organisational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Knowledge of Information Management, People Management, Asset Management framework
- Computer literate
- A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel are essential.

Duties:
- The successful candidate will be responsible for amongst others, the following specific tasks: Ensure effective management of assets
- Plan and execute the asset verification. Investigate and report on variances. Maintain and update the asset register
- Liaise with Provinces on all BAUD related issues.• Ensure effective management of assets disposal Ensure compliance to asset management policy and framework.
- Ensure efficient and effective application and utilisation of resources within the sub-directorate.
- Direct staff in dealing with leave and other Human Resources administration requirements within the unit
