(en) Brazil, Anarchist Collective Black Flag (Bandeira Negra) - Note Rejection of imperialist intervention in Syria (pt)

The COLLECTIVE ANARCHIST BLACK FLAG publicly condemns the prelude to genocide against the 
Syrian people played by NATO and especially the American war machine, which in addition to 
cooperating with terrorist militias, dragging the public and other subaltern nations 
against other people. ---- We condemn and reject any test for the mass destruction of 
civilians that may threaten the self-determination of peoples resistance against 
imperialism. Against an imperialism that uses pretexts "democratic" to fund wars 
interventionists to justify their economic interests. Against an imperialism that is 
anchored in the major media conglomerates dominated by Arab Saudi and Zionist, in order to 
directly influence public opinion causing waves of racism and xenophobia.
 
Against an imperialism which repeats this speech for centuries since the U.S. economic 
expansion on a large scale on the American continents, Africa and Asia in support of Latin 
American dictatorships and interventions against "terrorism" in Arab countries.
Centuries of genocidal war evoke the continuity of this capitalist model which is only one 
goal : the liquidation of antagonisms. Syria is the next hurdle. Large reserves of oil and 
gas in Syria are the causes for the appropriation of strategic energy resources. Control 
the region and resources is critical to overcoming the economic crisis in Europe and U.S.. 
For these reasons the coup attempt on Arab governments, focuses on the same policy of 
expropriating services exploitation of these resources.
 
Despite the international political arena and the Syrian government not being in the 
construction of a project of profound social transformation, we must establish our 
solidarity with the Syrian people that the resistance of the Arab Spring, the masses in 
the streets and the riots that have shaken other countries Europeans to Brazil recently, 
we claim ahead of internal problems, the repudiation of the threat of invasion. The people 
have demanded changes as in other countries. The imperialist nations seek to draw new 
boundaries delimiting areas of social exclusion and ethnic Kurds with the fragmenting of 
low resistances. The policy of Barack Obama follows step by step the state terror of its 
predecessor, promoting pretenses to act as agents of international policing.
 
We libertarian socialists, have clear idea of ??the current capitalist model is not in 
crisis, by contrast, adapts it up and reshapes itself infrequently, mainly by economic 
wars of origin. We are against any form of government that uses oppressive regimes on 
their people and not dictatorial compactuamos with no logic or transient processes. We 
stand in solidarity with the oppressed and exploited people in any circumstances to 
express themselves through the practice of solidarity in the fight against the elites.
