Requirements: An appropriate three (3) year degree/national diploma in finance related field with Financial accounting or Management Accounting as a major subject. Good knowledge of Public Finance Management Act, Treasury Regulations and the Basic Accounting System. Must have knowledge of BAS. Must be willing to work outside normal working hours. Must have knowledge of Section 45 of PFM Act. Computer literacy.

Competencies and Attributes: Plan and organize, punctuality, Confidentiality, Understanding of Public Service policy and legislative framework, Service delivery and client orientation, Integrity and honesty, Assertiveness, advanced typing skills. Ability to work under pressure.

Requirements: Coordination and review of revenue tariffs. Checking the correct allocation of revenue collected. Reconcile and prepare monthly pay-over of revenue to National Treasury. Recording and collection of interdepartmental receivables. Recording and processing of interdepartmental payables. Follow-up and clearing of relevant suspense accounts. Preparation of inputs for monthly financial statements, quarterly financial statements and annual financial statements. The incumbent will liaise with different directorates within the department as well as national/provincial departments in the execution of his/her tasks. Execute the responsibilities of officials as stipulated in Section 45 of the Public Finance Management Act.
