Yahrtzeit (anniversary of death) of Aaron the High Priest

Today, the first day of the Jewish month of Av, is the yahrtzeit (anniversary of the death) of the High Priest Aaron.

I can remember in the mid-to-late '90's that there were organized trips from Israel to the tomb (pictured), which is located in southern Jordan. The trips left in the wee hours of the morning, and returned in the wee hours of the following morning. One of my sons claims to have
