As usual , quality music (some of the top proffesional Belgian jazz cats) ,
easily accessible to all kinds of public, for a soft entrance price:  7,50 e and  10e.
Dance floor included...
A cool end of a hot day, a refreshing moment after a national shower;
in the company of visiting friends, as a couple or as a family, children admitted.

The original concept of this band is to take 20th century classical piano music and 
adapt it to a guitar trio setup, bringing in influences of improvisational and groove music.

Me & my Tribe of the Eastern World
Jan Alfredo Van Moer (trumpet, flugelhorn, compositions), Stefan Bracaval (flutes),
Moufadhel Adoum (ud), David Thomaere (piano), Joris Lindemans (bass),
Chryster Aerts (drums)
An exiting mixture of jazz and world music. This new ensemble has created a fresh and unique sound
with a original repertoire written by trumpet player. In his tribe some of the finest musicians
can be found like Stefan Bracaval on flutes, David Thomaere (Toots Thielemans Award) on piano
& Moufadhel Adhoum on ud. A superb rhythm section with Joris Lindemans on bass
and Chryster Aerts on drums make this band definitely worth seeing!

Philadelphian Denis King is a singer whose naturally beautiful voice, vibrato
and phrasing please musicians as well as fans. Whether she's singing a Billie Holiday,
Ella Fitzgerald or Sarah Vaughan standard, or a Gladys Knight or Aretha Franklin cover,
she puts her heart and soul into every note.
Another visit to the Village for 2 nights in the company of French talent OLIVIER HUTMAN
and some other famous jazz cats.
