Netanyahu tells Ashton EU statement release would hurt Kerry efforts

Prime Minister Netanyahu has asked European foreign policy chief Catherine Ashton to stop Europe's foreign ministers from issuing a statement condemning Israeli 'settlements,' saying that the statement will damage US Secretary of State John Kerry's efforts to revive the 'peace process.'

The European Union's foreign ministers will convene in Brussels
Monday for their regular monthly meeting.
