Salary: R96 363 per annum (plus 37% in lieu benefits)
This is a 6 month contract.

Requirements:
Applicants must be in possession of a Grade 12 (Matric) Certificate. A recognized three-year Degree or National Diploma in Accounting or Auditing will serve as an advantage. Extensive knowledge and understanding of the Public Finance Management Act, 1999 (Act 1 of 1999) (PFMA), Treasury Regulations and other relevant prescripts. Experience in and understanding of the Internal Control and Auditing environment. Computer literacy. Good communication, interpersonal relations and team work skills.

Duties:
The successful candidate will perform the following duties: Payment documents, journals, etc. are checked for accuracy, existence, completeness and authorization. Assist with the facilitation of financial policies’ workshops and updating loss register. Verify compliance to legislative guidelines for all processed financial batches. Verify existence of authentic supporting documents attached to processed financial batches. Raise discrepancies identified on processed financial batches. Issue discrepancy reports to the Supervisor for his/her consideration and further handling.
