I just signed up for Zipcar

It's a car sharing service. This should tide me over until I find a car of my own. Who knows, this might work so well, I may not need a car of my own. At the closest Zipcar location, my choices are an Audi A3 wagon ($13/hour), a Nissan Sentra sedan ($10.50/hour), and a Mazda 3 5-door hatchback ($8.25/hour).
