Requirements:
Appropriate three years Bachelor’s degree and in Natural Sciences or Environmental Management and background experience in Climate Change, Geography and or

Biodiversity Planning. A postgraduate Degree will serve as an added advantage. Extensive experience in biodiversity and conservation management issues. Understanding of the policy and legislative framework governing biodiversity and climate change Experience in research will serve as an added advantage. Organisation skills, Other skills: financial, change management and knowledge management. Ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure. Valid driver’s license.

Duties:
Co-ordinate policy development on the effects of climate change on biodiversity and linkages thereof. b) Provide sound science-based risk assessment and response planning advice for managing the impacts of unavoidable climate change on terrestrial biodiversity. c) Provide technical and scientific support by establishing relevant research programmes to support conservation and sustainable use. d) To enhance climate change adaptation research and analytical capacity. e) Champion the work on Ecosystem based Adaptation (EBA). f) To provide appropriate support in developing a framework for Biodiversity and Climate Change Response Strategy.
