This post is a little late because the baby blessing was actually a week and a half ago. I have had kind of a lot going on and sometimes it just takes me a while to get things posted. Anyway, the baby blessing was very sweet and Bob did a great job. At least what I heard was great. Scarlett thought it was a good time to throw a fit and I couldn't really hear much after the name and had to take her out. Luckily my mom wrote down most of the blessing, and my father-in-law emailed me what he remembered so I think I know what was said. Part of me always wants to just do it at home without all the fan fare but that idea keeps getting shot down.
Do you like his blessing outfit? I love it because it is the same one Bob and Tucker wore! A few of Leon's uncles and cousins also wore the same outfit. To me it is way more special then something new that we bought in a store.
These are also Leon's one month pictures because he was about a month old and I didn't take any others. He doesn't really look like a newborn anymore. He is getting so big and he is awake all the time. He also likes to hold his head up and look everywhere.
Now that the blessing is over I feel like we are done with all of the newborn stuff. We are all getting more sleep, he is eating great, and I am getting the hang of having four. The first month is always the hardest and I am ready to move on to the next stage. Although it is a little sad because I know he will never be that small again and time is going so quickly.
