Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree/National Diploma in Financial Accounting or equivalent qualifications; one year experience in financial matters; Knowledge of financial prescripts used in the Department; Basic Accounting skills; A valid driver’s License. Skills and Competencies: Computer literacy(MS Word and Excel); Good communication(written and verbal) skills; Ability to work under pressure; Administrative and organizational skills; Sound interpersonal relations; Good filing skills; Accuracy and attention to details

Duties:
Key Performance Areas: Improve Internal Controls of the Department; Monitor and query daily, weekly and monthly reconciliations and dormant (unclaimed) monies; Monitor bank reconciliations and query its exceptions (corrections, outstanding cheques, outstanding deposits, EFT‟s received not receipted, etc.); Ensure TPF Annual financial Statements project support and implementation; Train officers in the region i.r.o. Trust Account (telephonically or person to person); Prepare documentation for the write off of irrecoverable deferred fines; Ensure proper usage of resources and assets in the region; Conduct unscheduled office for investigation of losses, persistent financial problems etc., and write reports; Ensure compliance to all applicable prescripts and regulations on TPF and Vote; Perform any other duties as requested.
