Requirements:
A Financial related Degree / National Diploma or equivalent qualifications. At least one year experience in Financial Accounting / Management environment. A sound knowledge of Public Financial Management Act (PFMA) and National Treasury Regulation. Knowledge of the Department and third Party Funds and service will serve as a recommendation. Experience in Third Part Funds administration at National, Regional or court level. Experience in bank and cashbook reconciliations. Advanced spread sheet skills (may be tested). Experience on the Justice Deposit Account System (JDAS). Justice Management Information System (JMIS) and advanced spread sheet skills (May be tested). Computer literacy. Communication (Written and verbal) skills. Planning and organizing skills. Ability to work under pressure and be self-motivated. Accurate and attention to details. A valid driver’s license.

Duties:
Key Performance Areas: TRAINING & ON-SITE SUPPORT; Identify training and on-site support needs and trainees in Region; Assist with training venue and printing of training material as received from National Office; Assist with the compilation of the training and on-site support program with the Assistant Director; Assist the Assistant Director with the implementation of the training and on-site support program in Region; Maintain training and on-site support data base at the Region; Evaluate with the assistance of the Assistant Director the training and on-site support through continuous monitoring. EFT DEPLOYMENT: Assist the Assistant Director to compile a list; roll out plan of outstanding EFT sites in collaboration with National Office; Ensure registration of users through Directorate: TPF (other); Ensure infrastructure readiness Implement with the assistance of the Assistant Director the roll out plan in region; Monitor and support roll out sites. SYSTEM IMPLEMENTATION AND ROLL OUT: Assist the assistant Director with regards to consultation and engagement with National Office regarding the development of the system; Assist the Assistant Director in reviewing the DFI and Procedure manual for new system; Assist the Assistant Director in the identified pilot sites and provide support; Provide support for the implementation of the new system to all offices; Post-implementation support to offices. TPF DOCUMENT MANAGEMENT: Assist all courts within the Province to ensure proper TPF document management practices and take corrective action where and when necessary Co-ordinate confirmation certificates received from courts. AUDIT ACILITATION Assist all courts within the province with Audit Readiness and Audit Action planning and reporting with corrective action/s. OTHER Assist with National TPF projects as and when requested; Provide inputs on improvements on financial systems, processes & procedures
