Requirements:
A three year Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in the related field with appropriate experience in record management and registry services. Core Competencies: Strategic capacity and leadership, people management and empowerment, project management, problem solving and analysis, client orientation and customer focus and communication skills. Technical Competencies: Records management, policy analysis and formulation, understanding of National Archives and Records Service of SA Act and Promotion of Access of Information Act.
Duties:
The successful candidate will perform the following duties: Manage the storing, indexing and classifying of records. Facilitate the development of the Registry and filing systems, and maintain these to meet administrative, legal, and financial requirements. Oversee the management of electronic and/or paper-based information and document records systems. Support and implement the EDRMS new records management policies and classification systems. Provide the policy framework to guide staff in the management of records and use of the EDRMS. Ensure compliance with relevant legislation and regulations. Train and supervise Registry staff.
