Not only that, they suggest that the person posing as Tim Metcalfe, is in fact the man who shared a prison cell with Faye's real dad.
I have no inside information on this comment and I have seen no spoilers online or in the soap mags to support it. Rest assured, if I had done so, I would have blogged all about it. However, it could be possible, couldn't it?, that this fella calling himself Tim Metcalfe who has turned up from nowhere claiming to be Faye's dad, isn't who he claims to be.
We know nothing about Tim Metcalfe - although presumably Social Services would have done, at the very minimum, a CRB check on him before they allowed him to have access to Faye through Anna. Mind you, he did have a picture of Faye as a tot in his wallet, so it's possible he could have nicked the real Tim's identity while in prison. Who knows?
Do you think it's plausible that the real Tim could be languishing in prison for crimes unknown while the fella who says he's Faye's real dad Tim on Coronation Street is an imposter? What do we think, Corrie fans?
