Salary: R 1 076 619 per annum, This inclusive remuneration package consists of a basic salary, the states contribution to the Government Employees Pension Fund and a flexible portion that may be structured i.t.o. the applicable rules.

Requirements:
An appropriate three year Degree or equivalent qualification PLUS minimum of 8 years relevant senior management experience. A relevant post graduate degree will be an added advantage. Experience in the Social Development environment will be an added advantage. Knowledge of the relevant Public Service Legislation. Knowledge and ability to lead strategic management and organisational transformation programmes. Knowledge of monitoring and evaluation and risk management framework in the public service policies and programmes. Knowledge of social development policies and programmes.

Duties:
Ensure alignment of business processes, strategy, systems and structure to the mandate, vision and mission of the Department. Manage the integration of organisational systems to ensure the effective functioning of the Department. Manage the implementation of performance monitoring and evaluation. Manage the implementation of risk management and anti-corruption services and programmes. Manage the implementation of organisational transformation and change management programmes. Manage the implementation of strategic management processes and programmes. Manage the coordination and provision of entity oversight and institutional support services. Provide advice and guidance to the social development sector and participate in various forums in relation to strategic management and organisational transformation matters. Ensure that the financial and physical capacity requirements of the Branch adequately reflect operational realities in accordance with the Department’s priorities and policies.
